Your donation will help fund the development of the Spring Park. This is space that everyone in the community will be able to enjoy. The new master plan for the site creates green space, improves pedestrian safety, connects neighborhoods and does not change existing traffic patterns. It also celebrates and protects one of Newport’s most important historic assets. The sooner funding goals are met, the sooner we can all enjoy this important, vibrant, new public space.
We have partnered with Newport’s Church Community Housing Corporation, a 501(c)(3) organization, which has agreed to act as our fiscal sponsor pending completion of the plans to create a non-profit entity.
